Challenge:

Our 21st century environmentally friendly society demands a precision approach to tree harvesting. The modern logging operation requires up-to- the-minute reports from loggers to match logging loads with sawmill capacities and available stocks as well as matching supply and demand for various types of woods to minimize waste and maximize efficiency. The printer needed for this job had to be small, portable, extremely tough, and able to operate "hitch-free" for a minimum of five years. It had to withstand harsh conditions, extreme temperatures, continuous vibrations and jerky movements.

 

 

Application: To print line logger reports for ESE, a Swedish forest management company, who set the industry standard for document management for the forestry business worldwide.
