PocketJet I Drivers

Look for the operating system or PDA device that you use, read the instructions, and click to download the driver file.

Symbian EPOC

All Windows (v3.1 and higher) - Your computer may already have the driver for the original PocketJet printer, or you can download it now below. The driver is available on your Windows installation CD. Choose Add Printer, and select the "HP Laserjet IIp" driver.


Windows 95, 98, Me - This driver is available on your Windows installation CD. Choose Add Printer, and select the HP Laserjet IIp driver. If you do not have your Windows installation CD, then you can do the following:

  1. Download the self-extracting executable to a temporary folder.
  2. Double-click the resulting executable.
  3. When the program runs, select the directory where you want to place the driver installation files, and choose "Extract".
  4. Within the selected directory is the set of driver installation files and a README.TXT. View the README.TXT for further instructions on how to install the driver. NOTE: The README.TXT file contains references to the directory "A:\" when discussing certain operations. For these instructions, replace "A:\" with the directory you selected in Step 3.

Windows NT - This driver is available on your Windows installation CD. Choose Add Printer, and select the HP Laserjet IIp driver.


Windows 3.1 - This driver is available on your Windows installation CD. Choose Add Printer, and select the HP Laserjet IIp driver. If you do not have your Windows installation CD, then you can do the following:

Symbian EPOC32 - Choose the Laserjet III driver which is preinstalled on your EPOC device. Note: Though this driver works in many cases, it does not work in all cases. But, it is the best choice available.


DOS - Utility program to enable and enhance printing to the PocketJet from DOS.

  1. Download the self-extracting executable to a temporary folder.
  2. Double-click the resulting executable, PJ1-DOSUtil.exe.
  3. When the program runs, select the directory where you want to place the driver installation files, and choose "Extract".
  4. Within the selected directory is the set of driver installation files and a README.TXT. View the README.TXT for further instructions on how to install the driver. NOTE: The README.TXT file contains references to the directory "A:\" when discussing certain operations. For these instructions, replace "A:\" with the directory you selected in Step 3.
