Configuration Utility - Instructions

The configuration utility allows modifying the printer's power-on default behavior. Some settings may be of interest to all users. For users with the Bluetooth printer model, this utility allows you to set the Bluetooth PIN code. But, most settings are designed for use in a text-based, driverless environment, which will not apply for most users. See README.TXT file included in the package for more details.

MacOSX - Instructions

NOTE: Requires Mac OSX version 10.2.8 (Jaguar), 10.3.5 (Panther), 10.4.3 (Tiger), or higher.

1. Download the disk-image file "pocketjet-2.0.1.ppc.dmg" to your computer.
2. Double-click on "pocketjet-2.0.1.ppc.dmg". This is a "disk image" formatted file and will place a new folder on your desktop called "Install pocketjet".
3. If you have OSX "Jaguar" and do not already have ESP GhostScript installed, install the GhostScript package in the "Install PocketJet" folder that was created in Step 2. To install this, double-click on it and follow the onscreen instructions. For OSX "Panther" or "Tiger", this step is not necessary.
4. Install the PocketJet package in the "Install PocketJet" folder. To install this, double-click on it and follow the onscreen instructions.
5. For more detailed installation and usage instructions, view the "MacOSXPocketJetUserGuide.pdf" file located in the "Install PocketJet" folder.
