Windows Vista Driver
1. Pentax is pleased to announce the release of 32-bit and 64-bit GDI drivers for Windows Vista.
2. Digitally Signed drivers are available for the PocketJet 3 and 3Plus.
3. Bluetooth printer models use the same exact drivers as the non-Bluetooth models, but these printer models are unable to receive a Digital Signature due to Microsoft requirements for the Bluetooth interface to support the HCRP profile.
4. The 32-bit drivers are nearly identical to the Windows 2000/XP drivers. The primary difference is that the “RollPaperPause” feature has been removed, since Vista does not function properly when using this feature. If you require using the RollPaperPause feature, please contact Pentax Technical Support.
5. The 64-bit drivers are NEW. The functionality is the same as the 32-bit driver.
B. Configuration Utility (version 2.5)
1. Fixed bug with Bluetooth Printers on Windows Vista. The print queue was not showing up in the Printers list.
2. Added Bluetooth programming ability for the new Bluetooth module, which is contained in new printers with Firmware version 2.13 (and higher).
3. Added ability to program the Bluetooth “Local Name” for both older and newer versions of the Bluetooth module. This may be useful with any version of the Bluetooth printer.
4. Various bug fixes, which may be useful with any version of the PocketJet 3/3Plus printers.
5. Added “United Kingdom” to list of Character Set Maps (mistakenly omitted in previous version).
6. Removed Serial options.
7. Temporarily removed Language support. This version supports ENGLISH ONLY. This is an interim version. A new release is planned in the future to include Language support.
