1. Digitally Signed Drivers for Windows 2000/XP
PocketJet 3 and PocketJet 3Plus printers now have a Digital Signature for Windows 2000 and XP. These printers have received the “Designed for Windows XP” logo from Microsoft.
The Windows 2000/XP drivers have not changed since release 1.0, however they now will be distributed with the Digital Signature files PJ3.CAT and PJ3PLUS.CAT.
The Windows XP installation program for PocketJet 3/3plus printers changed to handle the new CAT file and to provide a better method of “pre-installing” the driver files. The driver will now be installed automatically when the printer is first connected via USB instead of requiring the user to use the “Found New Hardware Wizard” to install the driver.
2. New Symbian OS Driver for Nokia 9300/9500 Communicator Phones
PocketJet II, 200, 3, 3Plus printers now have a driver for use with Nokia 9300/9500 Communicator phones.
3. Updated Symbian OS Driver for Symbian ER5 and ER6 devices
A very minor change was made to each of these drivers to fix the printer command data sent at the end of each page.
4. Updated Psion Workabout solution
PocketJet 200 has an updated solution for Psion Workabout devices. This new solution added support for using the “F” serial port on the Workabout cradle.
