The USB cable allows you to print from a standard USB port.
On a PC, use of this cable requires Win98, WinMe, or Win2000 (or higher). It will not work on Win95 or WinNT.
On Win98 and WinMe, you must also install the driver included with the cable. On Win2K/XP, no additional driver is needed.
IMPORTANT NOTE for Win2K/XP users: If your computer has more than 1 USB port, it is VERY important that you always connect the USB cable to SAME port. Win2K/XP treats each physical port differently, and it will create a new USB00x port each time the cable is connected to a different port. So, you must be sure that you have the proper USB00x port selected (via “Properties” in the Printers Control Panel applet in order to print.
For use with a USB-enabled WinCE device, this cable requires a different driver than the WinCE driver supplied. If you are interested in using USB on a WinCE device, please contact Technical Support.
Both PocketJet II and PocketJet 200 can be ordered in kits that contain this cable.
