There are now THREE different EPOC drivers on the driver CD.
1) EPOC5 (ER5) devices such as Psion Series 5.
2) EPOC6 (ER6.0) devices, which only include the Nokia 92xx Communicator phones.
3) Nokia 9300/9500 Communicator phones
If you require a driver for a Symbian OS device running ER6.1 or ER7 or later, please contact Technical Support to inquire about the availability of a solution for these newer platforms.
Be sure to use the appropriate set of instructions below depending on your device.

1) Psion Series 5 and other EPOC (version 5) devices
*****************************************************************************
Method 1: Use CD Installer
1. Connect the Psion to the PC. Refer to the documentation provided with your Psion for instruction on how to do this.
· "Remote Link" MUST be enabled. To enable “RemoteLink” go to System:File Menu:Tools:Remote Link and choose the desired method, Infrared or Cable.
· Assure that no other application on your Windows PC has control of the port. (For example, if Windows CE Services (Mobile Devices) are running, make sure this is set so that it is not automatically looking for CE devices to connect. If it is, change this in Mobile Devices:File:Communications:Auto Connect by setting the choice to "Only while Mobile Devices Window is open".)
2. Start the CD installer program and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. To print, disable the "Remote Link" by setting the Remote Link to "Off".
1. Connect to Psion device as described above (Method 1:1)
2. Place the Pentax Driver Installation CD into the CD drive.
3. Select "Start: Run" and enter (or browse to)
"<CD DRIVE>\<Printer Model>\EPOC-Symbian\ER5\PENTAX_ER5.SIS."
(NOTE: If installing the driver downloaded from the website, just select the *.SIS file that was downloaded.)
This will launch the EPOC installer and automatically copy the files to the Psion device.
4. To print, disable the "Remote Link" by setting the Remote Link to "Off".
To Uninstall:
1. Connect your Psion to your PC.
2. Delete the 4 files from the Internal(C:)\System\Printers directory. These 4 files are Pentax.pdl, Pentax.pdr, Pentax.udl, and Ptxu.rsc.
