The RIM BlackBerry “trial” solution previously released on Pentax driver CD’s has been discontinued.
An updated trial version is currently in development, but it was not completed in time to be released onto this CD.
Please contact Pentax Technical Support or check our website to determine if this solution is currently available.
For future reference, here is some info about Bluetooth Pairing on BlackBerry devices:
1. Bluetooth Pairing
RIM BlackBerry devices seem to require using a Bluetooth PIN code, and this PIN code can ONLY contain NUMBERS. The "default" PIN code inside the PocketJet 3/3Plus with Bluetooth printers is NOT numeric.
In order to successfully "pair" with these printers, you MUST use the Configuration Utility Program included on your PocketJet Driver CD to change the Bluetooth PIN code to an all-numeric value.
NOTE: Newer BlackBerry models may or may not have this requirement. If your model does not require an all-numeric PIN code, then you may use the default PIN code if you desire.
