Version 1.01 (5/2/06)
1. Auto Install program (version 1.1) changed filename and modified Dialog caption titles. There were no changes made to the driver.
Version 1.0 (9/12/05)
1. The driver is exactly the same as the driver version 1.0 and 1.1 for the non-Bluetooth model. But, the Microsoft “digital signature” CAT file was removed, since the Bluetooth version of the printer is not eligible to use the digital signature file at this time.
2. The installation INF file changed to account for new USB Plug and Play device ID’s
3. The “AutoInstall” program was modified to include additional port choices and instructions for installing for use with Bluetooth. It also reverted to using a similar method to version 1.0 for handling USB port driver installation on Windows XP, which does not allow the “pre-install” method to work properly without a digital signature file, as it basically forces users to use the “Found New Hardware Wizard”.
Version 1.1 (1/13/05)
1. Received Digital Signature from Microsoft and added this file (PJ3PLUS.CAT) to the driver package.
2. Modified Installation program to better handle installing on Windows XP.
· On a first-time installation, the installer will now “pre-install” the driver files to the C:\PENTAX\PocketJet3plus\DriverFiles folder.
· When the user connects the printer to the computer’s USB port for the first time, the driver will be installed automatically now, instead of requiring the user to deal with the “Found New Hardware Wizard”.
Version 1.0 (11/10/04)
1. Created a Windows 2000/XP Driver and Auto Install program based on modifications to the PocketJet II Win2K/XP driver version 1.2
